Land Sailing is a rapidly growing sport that is exciting, inexpensive, and enjoyed on any flat hard surface - like an empty parking lot, beach or desert. No special knowledge, no special equipment, and no fancy venues are required to go out and have a blast with the magnificent Stealth.
The Stealth was the first production model land yacht to come on the market, and it has set the standard for the rest of the world. There are currently 3 sizes of Stealth, one size to fit each level of the land sailing racing rule. We call them simply Stealth 1, 2, 3. Click here for information on the designer and the design criteria for these boats. Land Sailing, what is it? Land Sailing is hard to describe - it's like flying a boat on wheels! The Stealth will sail 3-4 times faster than the wind speed ~ seems impossible doesn't it? (hmmm, an interesting science project). The Stealth is about aerodynamics, it's about counteracting forces, it's - well, it's about exhilarating speed, rolling on three wheels, powered only by the wind. And it is made easy to control by a simple two-channel radio system. The Stealth looks like it is going 50 mph sitting in your living room, and when you turn it loose on any flat surface, you will be in for the thrill of your life. The aerodynamic WeberTM foil mast, is the leading edge of a wing sail that accelerates the boat quickly on her smooth double-ball bearing wheels. One thing you learn right away ~ don't ever put your Stealth on its wheels and let go unless you are ready to drive. And heaven help you if you let this rocket ship go without turning on the radio system - because there is no catching it! Why the Stealth Line? These models were chosen for their clever design and the great attention to detail, quality and performance. Robert Weber's innovation in design, and his exhaustive testing has produced a model kit so well done that you don't need to know anything. The Kit - Our kits feature a pre-cut, aerodynam sleeved sail; a two part fiberglass freestanding mast; the finest in double-ball bearing wheels with surface grabbing hard foam tires; and a unique molded hull that encloses and streamlines all the working parts - also note the new Pilot molding on the aft deck. The rugged laminated wood frame is pre-cut for electronics mounting which provides ease of installation, and proper balance. Add pre-assembled sub-assemblies, and you have a fun, easy, quick-build kit. 
One-Niter. We call our Stealth kits "one-niters"- because they are easily assembled in one evening. There is no gluing, no shaping - just assemble the parts following detailed and illustrated instructions. Of course if you would like to paint your Stealth and put some fancy graphics on it, make that a 2-niter.
