That is because we are the only vendor that sails, sells, and services this boat on a full-time basis. First Impressions - Fantastic! Seawind is certainly the most attractive and realistic looking production model in its class. At 39", it is large enough to perform like the Americas Cup speedsters it models, and yet it is still small enough to transport easily. The deck arrangement is clean and functional, while the high aspect rig features shaped aluminum spars, swept back spreaders, and nice quality polished dacron sails. Below the water, the keel is a slim fin with bulb shaped lead ballast. This style keel facilitates great maneuverability especially when guided by a deep fin rudder hung well aft. Both fins, as well as the rig, are quickly and easily removed for transportation. The long narrow bow, with plumb stem, beautifully knifes through the water, while the wider hull sections aft support the weight of the boat and give her good form stability. You can see in the picture above that the boat points extremely well, and I can verify that she balances easily and tracks perfectly. In a nutshell, this boat is easy to sail for a novice, but responds well to an experienced hand on the way to the national championship.
